It’s cold. It’s really cold. When it’s this cold, I don’t want to leave the warm comforting confines of my boudoir. Unfortunately, I have to make the dollars; and in order to make the dollars I, unlike Polly Adler, must venture beyond the bedroom. The good news is that the sun is beginning to peak out from behind the clouds and I can see signs that spring is on the way, which means that summer is soon to follow. I don’t know about you, but I have been participating in some binge “House of Cards” watching and major cookie eating. But now it’s time to get real. Bikini season is just around the corner and I need to do some serious squats to get this sad saggy booty lifted!
Richard Simmons suggests you that stretch to the classics. Fabo idea, Richard! But did you also know that you can work out hard to some great classical tunes? Here’s my play list to help you get into Speedo shape in no time.
The Ride of the Valkyries
György Ligeti – Piano Concerto, I-II (Good for stair stepping)
Igor Stravinsky – The Rite of Spring – Sacrificial Dance (Good punching and kicking music)
Erlkonig (Schubert) (Great for running)
Overture from Candide
The William Tell Overture
Strauss’ Radetzky March Op 228
Merry Widow Waltz
Mozart’s 40th Symphony in G Minor
Beethoven’s 4th Symphony, 4th Movement
Now that’s really Sweatin to the Oldies
